1. What can be deleted
- Identity data (first name, last name, phone, email)
- Project records (estimate, address, notes)
- Cookies and tracking data
- WhatsApp / SMS notification history
- Logs and IP hashes (auto-deleted after 12-month retention)
2. Data that must be retained (legal requirement)
Some data must be retained for a defined period by law:
- Accounting records (invoices, payment history) — 10 years (Accounting Act)
- Tax records — 5 years (Tax Code)
- E-signature records — contract duration + 5 years (Electronic Signature Act)
These records are stored anonymously — personal identifiers are removed, only transaction history remains.
3. How to send a deletion request
Choose one of three methods:
- By email — write to design@azea.az — design@azea.az
- From the client cabinet — log in and click "Delete account" (the document opens automatically)

4. What the request must include
- Full first and last name
- Email used at registration
- Phone number
- Project document number (if any, e.g. AZ-DS-260602-XXXXXX)
- Identity confirmation (ID, passport copy) — for anti-fraud protection
- Reason for deletion (optional, for statistics)
5. Processing time
- A confirmation email is sent within 3 business days of receiving the request.
- After identity verification, data is deleted within 30 calendar days.
- After deletion, a written confirmation email is sent.
- Third-party processors are notified (Meta WhatsApp, Google Analytics, ePoint).
6. Consequences of deletion
- Your project cabinet closes — login is no longer possible.
- Estimate history and all conversations are archived (but no longer viewable).
- Email/SMS notifications stop.
- Re-registration is possible (as a new account).
7. Appeal
If your request is rejected or executed late, you may file a complaint within 30 days with:
